P&M is pleased to announce the following staff promotions:

Eric Benton, CPE, AVS to "Manager of Estimating". Eric will be responsible for leading the home office estimating team which includes coordinating team efforts, related client account management, mentoring and training of staff, maintaining and updating tools and processes in support of our estimators needs.

Eric has more than 30 years of experience in the Construction Estimating profession for a variety of project types and sizes in heavy civil, structural, transportation, new buildings and remodels, commercial and industrial. He spent 15 years of his professional life working as a Contractor which were focused on underground utilities, mass excavation, earthworks and site remediation. 

His recent projects involved provision of cost estimates that ranges from planning, conceptual to final design of underground storage tanks, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, conveyance systems and water supply. He has also provided value engineering, constructability review, construction claims, forensic budget surveys, change impact management, bid estimate evaluation and expert contruction cost witness to regional and local agencies such as: King County, Seattle Public Utilities,Jefferson County, Sound Transit, US Army Corps of Engineers, and the US Navy.

Nick Viscount, Business Development Manager & Project Executive, will take on the responsibilities of Business Development Manager, as well as, the role of Project Executive in supporting and working in conjunction with account / project / client managers ensuring successful delivery of P&M's projects and efforts.

Nick is an accomplished project management professional in the delivery of large complex capital projects in green field and 24/7 operating environments. His experience comes primarily in managing and leading high-performance project teams as a design/build (D/B) contractor, in addition to GC/CM, in the private sector, performing engineering, procurement, construction (E-P-C), commissioning and activation testing encompassing civil, underground utilities, buildings, MEP and controls scopes of work in the energy /industrial sector.|

His past expereinces and responsibilities include the leadership of all home office and field PM/CM, Project Controls and E-P-C functions. He is experienced in providing strategic planning/scheduling, risk management/risk allocation, strategic work package definition and sequencing and associated project delivery selection to optimize integrated execution across all projects phases. Expertise in development and oversight of integrated project controls inclusive of cost estimating, budget allocation, cost and schedule forecasting, cash flows, change controls and risk management.
