  • 07/08: pmsi as a prime consultant has been awarded the advertised contract for Construction Scheduling Analysis services with the Port of Seattle Engineering Department / Aviation and Seaport.

  • 6/20/08: pmsi added the following professional staff to our organization:

    Charlie Moyer, Senior Project Controls Manager
    Mr. Moyer has over 36 years of experience providing project controls services to owners in the design and construction industries including 16 years of rail transit experience. He has provided project controls services as an extension of agency staff on the DART Light Rail Program, and has been responsible for providing services to the Houston Metropolitan Transportation Authority as well as Construction Management services for the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. Charlie has been directly responsible for CPM scheduling (project and program levels), cost estimating, cost control, cost confidence studies and risk analysis, time impact analysis, claims analysis, design and value engineering studies.

    Dustin is an experienced Access/VB/C++/SQL Server
    Database Developer. Over the past years, he has developed
    the Project Office Tracking System ”SPOTS” for the Port of
    Seattle and our proprietary Project Delivery System “Myriad”
    which is available for download from our web site.

  • 10/07: pmsi was hired by the Prime Design Consultant to provide Project Controls services for the Blair - Hylebos Peninsula Terminal Redevelopment Project, East Blair Terminal 2 (EB2) which include project elements such as: Civil Design; Wharf; Intermodal Yard; Electrical; Geotechnical; Dredging; Permit Documents Support or Environmental and Architectural.

  • 9/07: pmsi has been awarded the Prime Contract for Project Controls including risk, cost and schedule management for the
    • $23M Fisherman 5-10 Replacement and Upgrade project
    • $55M Terminal 18 Replacement and Upgrade project 
    • $80M Replacement and Renewal project at the Shilshole Bay Marina

  • 9/07: pmsi has been awarded the Prime Contract for Project Controls including risk, cost and schedule management for the new T91 Cruise Terminal Building / T30 Cargo Apron Upgrade program for the Port of Seattle. This program which is a landmark construction in the Seattle community is estimated to cost $120M and will start construction in the fall of 2007 and complete in 2009.

  • 6/07: pmsi was hired by the Port of Seattle to be the Project Manager for the Fender and Dolphins Replacement project at Terminal 91.

  • 5/07: pmsi as a prime consultant has been awarded the advertised open order contract for Claims Analysis services with the Port of Seattle Engineering Department / Aviation and Seaport.

  • 5/07: pmsi was hired to perform risk analysis for the new T91 Cruise Terminal Building / T30 Cargo Apron Upgrade program for the Port of Seattle. This program which is estimated to cost over $120M and take over 1.5 years to construct is a challenging program to execute with high risk for schedule; operational impacts and cost.

  • 5/07: pmsi as a subconsultant was been awarded the scope of work for schedule management of the professional services contract work for Architectural/Engineering services leading toward the comprehensive planning and design of the Port of Bremerton’s Kitsap SEED (Sustainable Energy and Economic Development) Project Phase One (Pod 1).

  • 5/07: PMI Puget Sound Tradeshow 2007 in Seattle
    pmsi was an exhibitor at the 2007 Puget Sound PMI Trade Show: "Advancing Your Project Management Skills" - click here for more information. The focus of this event was to provide a venue at which project/program/portfolio managers in the Puget Sound area can meet and talk with tool vendors, solution providers, and education providers, plus attend educational presentations.

  • 11/06: pmsi was hired to perform risk analysis for the new 550ft T5 Apron project. This program which is estimated to cost over $100M is a challenging program to execute with high risk for schedule and cost.

  • 9/06: pmsi begins retailing of “@Risk for Project” from Palisade Corporation. @Risk for Project is a powerful cost and schedule risk analysis tool that works in conjunction with the Myriad application or as a stand alone application. It allows you to run Monte Carlo simulation on project schedules; estimates and resources that are automatically loaded from Myriad, so you can assess the probable outcomes of completing projects on time and within budget. 
  • 8/06: pmsi was hired to be responsible for the Project Controls and Claims Analysis for the $12M Terminal 91 Foundation and Utilities project for Carnitech Building 

  • 3/06: pmsi was hired to be responsible for the Project Controls and Claims Analysis for the $23M Fisherman 5-10 Replacement and Upgrade project 

  • 11/05: pmsi was hired to be responsible for the Project Controls and Claims Analysis for the $55M Terminal 18 Replacement and Upgrade project 

  • 3/05: pmsi as a subconsultant was been awarded the scope of work for schedule management of the professional services contract work for Architectural/Engineering services leading toward the comprehensive planning and design of the Suncadia Resort a 7000-acre full service destination resort.

  • 7/04: pmsi as a subconsultant was been awarded the scope of work for schedule management & Commissioning & Startup Services for the $12M South Treatment Plant Cogen Project with King County
